The young son of well-known executive developed lot of interest in cricket and spent much of his time watching the game on television. The father wasn’t interested in cricket at all or in any sports.

But one summer, the executive bought tickets for the final games of an international cricket tournament and took his son to see the match. The trip took over one week and cost a great deal of money to him, but it became a powerful bonding experience in their relationship.

When asked on his return, "Do you like cricket so much that you spent this much on it including taking a week-long leave from the office?"

"No" he replied, "I don’t like the game but I like my son that much."

To be trusted is more important than to be loved!
