Delicious Tailgating Drinks

Because not everyone in your group may want to (or be able to) consume alcohol, your guests will appreciate it if you make some tasty, alcohol-free drinks from “The Mocktail Bar Guide” (Meadowbrook Press, $10.00 at www.meadowbrookpress.com) by Frank Thomas and Karen L. Brown.
Pour 1/3 cup ice-cold apple juice into a pilsner glass. Top with ice-cold seltzer and serve immediately.
Sangria Touchdown Punch
Mix together 6 ounces of lemon juice, 16 ounces or orange juice, sugar to taste, and one bottle of nonalcoholic red wine. Stir in a pitcher until the sugar is dissolved. Chill until you’re ready to serve. Pour into a punch bowl and garnish with orange, lemon and lime slices.
Blend 2 ounces of mango-orange juice, 4 ounces of Martinelli’s Sparkling Cider and 1 ounce of orange juice. Pour into a tulip glass and garnish with a red apple wedge.
