Haitian Hot Sauce (Sauce Ti-Malice)

Haitan Hot Sauce is delicious served with grilled meats, as well as a variety of other dishes.

Ingredients:

2 serrano or jalapeno chiles, deveined and seeded, minced
2 large onions, minced
2 shallots, minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
6 tablespoons fresh lime juice
3 tablespoons olive oil

Directions

In a small saucepan, combine all the ingredients. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat. Allow to cool. Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.

Yield:

1 cup
