Buttermilk Yogurt Dressing

Ranch dressing, similar to this dressing available commercially, typically has 65 calories and 6 grams of fat per tablespoon. This homemade Buttermilk Yogurt Dressing has only 11 calories and less than 1/10 gram of fat per tablespoon!

Ingredients

1/4 cup plain nonfat yogurt 
1/4 cup buttermilk, preferably low fat
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar 
2 tablespoons chopped green onion 
1 tablespoon lemon juice 
2 teaspoons honey 
1 teaspoon chopped garlic 
1/2 teaspoon celery seed 
pinch white pepper (optional)

Yield: 2/3 Cup

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a wide mouth jar or small bowl. Mix well until uniformly blended. Chill 15 minutes before serving.

Store any remaining dressing in refrigerator in a covered container.
