Fresh Strawberries and Raspberries in Port
1 pint fresh strawberries
1/2 pint fresh raspberries
1 cup port
Makes 6 servings.
Cut the strawberries in half lengthwise (Cut in quarters if strawberries are very big).
Combine the strawberries and the whole raspberries in a deep bowl.
Pour the port over the berries. Marinate in the refrigerator for 2 - 4 hours. Stir occasionally.
This is great for a beautiful ending to a summer meal. Serve in stemmed wine glasses with crisp chocolate cookies.
