Golden Apple Turkey Saute
1/2 pound skinless, boneless turkey
1 medium green bell pepper, sliced lengthwise into thin strips
1 medium onion, sliced lengthwise into thin strips
1 Golden Delicious apple, cored and thinly sliced
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
3 tablespoons vinegar
2 teaspoons soy sauce
1 to 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
Dash black pepper
1. Cut turkey into 2-1/2 x 1/2-inch strips.
a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon oil. Add turkey. Cook and stir until no longer pink in center. Remove from pan.
3. Add remaining I tablespoon oil to
skillet; cook and stir bell pepper and onion until crisp-tender.
4. Return turkey to skillet; add apple and heat thoroughly.
5. Combine remaining ingredients in small bowl. Add to turkey mixture; cook and stir until sauce thickens.
Makes 3 to 4 servings
