4 cups water
4 black peppercorns
1/2 cup sugar
Blanch the almonds.
Place the almonds, water, and peppercorns in a blender. Blend.
Strain through muslin or several thicknesses of cheesecloth.
Discard the residue. Add the sugar to the almond milk.
