A Nugget In My Thought
By Dr. Mercy Abraham
Where did the birds go, where
the flowers All the land seem barren and dry Like a dream in Arabia
I am here a forlorn traveler in the ages to come Searching for a nugget of gold In the treasure house of Nature
Life brought me treasures of value Like love hope and peace Which will never fade away
I'm happy to know that I am in your thoughts far or near
It gives me strength to go on Beyond the far horizon and search for knowledge To quench my quest for everlasting Love.
