O God, who dost not suffer anyone who puts his trust in Thee to be overmuch afflicted, but lendest a kindly ear to their prayers, we thank Thee forbearing our petitions and granting our desires, and we devoutly entreat Thee that what we have received may make us worthy to be delivered from all evil.
